HOW TO FIND US

Barrow is situated in the southern tip of the Furness peninsula, on the North West Coast of England, only 20 minutes from the Lake District with outstanding scenery on both road and rail routes.


By Car

From the M6 Northbound, exit at junction 36. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the A590. Take the A590 following signs for Barrow-in-Furness.


Bluebirds Club: Follow signs for Barrow Train Station then continue along Holker St. until you reach the football ground and Asda superstore. The Bluebird Club is situated next to the ground and parking is available in the adjacent car park.


St John’s Church: Follow signs from the town centre for the docks until you reach Barrow Island. The Church is situated on Island Road, next to Barrow Island School.  Please note that parking on Barrow Island is unrestricted on Saturday evenings after 6pm.


Barrow Park: The Park is situated on Abbey Road just outside of the town centre. Parking is available from the entrance on Park Avenue as well as on-street parking. Installations will be sited around the boating lake, pitch and putt course and badnstand at the park’s centre.


By Train

Direct trains run every 1-2 hours from Manchester Picadilly, Lancaster, Preston and Carlisle. Visit www.nationalrail.co.uk for journey details. All venues are within 15 minutes walk of the station.


By Bus

Regular bus services run from Kendal, Ulverston, Dalton-in-Furness and Millom. Visit www.stagecoachbus.com for journey details.
