A Song Birds course: Circle singing and collaborative vocal improvisation – Wednesdays from 25 September

Create soundscapes in the moment by layering parts - taught by ear

Tickets: £70 – £90

Date: September 25 @ 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

Kirsten of Song Birds leads a five week introductory course for the vocally curious.

Come and join Kirsten for circle singing, where we will create soundscapes in the moment by layering parts - taught by ear - with opportunity to create your own if you feel the urge.

You will also explore the art of collaborative vocal improvisation. This process focuses on listening, tuning into ourselves and others, allowing for space, playfulness and creativity.

Collaborative vocal improvisation enables us to connect with others without the constructs of words and conversation. When we are willing to trust the process and allow the freedom to be spontaneously creative,  great things can happen. It’s a liberating way get in touch with yourself and others. . . and it’s great fun!

No improvising experience necessary, just be willing and curious for the ways of voice.
