A full evening of music, performance, film and food as experimental music organisation Full of Noises marks its 15th birthday.

Concert: Blanc Sceol

Blanc Sceol bring their 10-stringed instrument Orbit to Barrow.

The performance forms part of Full of Noises’ 15th Birthday celebrations.

Blanc Sceol are Stephen Shiell and Hannah White.

Their practice has emerged & expanded throughout years of working together across performance, improvisation, composition, participatory actions, deep listening facilitation, somatic and ritual gatherings.

Blanc Sceol's compositions, interventions and performances express experience of place, anchored in what we find in a landscape but re-imagined into new terrains.

Film: Driftline (2022)

Also, see Driftline - a series of short films by Laurence Campbell and Tom James Scott.

Shot on and around The Islands of Furness, the works exist somewhere between documentary, fiction and nature film.
Based on a series of conversations, location walks and sound recordings that took place in the autumn/winter of 2020, the films explore how the landscape and it’s people are shaped by water.

Music: Full of Noises Music Lab

Enjoy food including birthday cake...
