The Knotted Project - Early Career Artists Scratch Night

Tuesday 13th May 2025: 19:30-21:00pm (doors 19:00)

Tickets are free or by donation - advance booking is recommended.

The Knotted Project is proud to have collaborated with twelve exceptional Early Career Artists from across the region as part of Forge Festival between 2022 and 2025. Each artist was commissioned to create an original 10-15 minute performance for the festivals whilst developing their creative skills and expanding their industry knowledge.

A small selection of these artists have joined the Early Career Artists Rural Tour tour to share their bold and dynamic work with new audiences. Each Early Career Artist has a strong link to Cumbria and are excited to broaden their relationships with local venues, artists and audiences.

These artists will be sharing a range of different works, including theatre, contemporary dance, spoken word, poetry and much more. This is an opportunity for local audiences to connect with these exciting artists in the early stages of their careers and support their creative journey.

The evening will feature a number of short performances, Q&A’s with the artists and The Knotted Project Theatre Company who have mentored each young artist.

Forge Festival is supported using public funding by The National Lottery through Arts Council England. It is also supported by exceptional local partners including Lakeland Arts, Brewery Arts, Carer Support South Lakes, Barrow Full, Rosehill Theatre, North Yorkshire Council and Wave Forward.

Tickets: Free

Date: May 13 @ 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm
