Join us at Full of Noises for workshop delivered by Sylvia & I (Chris Dowding and Sylvia Hallett).
This workshop aims to explore an approach to working with looping pedals and some other simple pedal effects such as pitch-shifting, delay and sustain.
Looking at what happens when sounds are repeated over-and-over, how this produces a specific mood, how important phrasing is, and exploring the effect of different loops overlapping, rather than synchronised.
Participants can use their voices or bring their instruments.
The workshop is aimed at anyone new to looping, from age 12 to 85.
Session runs 10am-3pm with one-hour lunch break in the middle - participants to bring their own lunch.
EVENT IS FREE BUT YOU MUST BOOK YOUR PLACE.
